Basically the current generation of children lost the ability to find substantied originality due to the wrongdoings of their parents in terms of raising them at home and giving them a direction at kids. Now they have this reduced, obscure humor, and a narrow/limited estate of thought abstracts to call their generation's own.
For a bit I thought this was just a case of devolution, but I've seen parents simply do shit work in raising their kids.
Sometimes I have to apply myself in alternate generational timelines and think about how things would compare and contrast. Middle school me could kick the asses of most of the middle school equivalents of my parents generation - basketball, taekwondo, speed, jumping, aesthetic, intellect, power, etc - but current middle schoolers wouldn't even be able to step into that ring in the first place.
