Yeah, he's probably my least favorite of the starters, but I will admit he's way more useful than Chikorita unless the mega is amazing. He has a decent looking mega evolution too.

However cute the starters are, you barely see them after the first Gym.

It's the Stage 2 that matters. Emboar is the worst of three bad options. Gen 5 is the only time I've ditched my starter ASAP.

Tepig is great. But his evolutions are disappointing.

I kinda like Mega Emboar tho. The fire staff redeems it.

I love my lttile Baconator.

I usually always go with fire starters. Scarlet was an exception. Weed kitty was too cute.
