How da fuck will it go down, i just hope rocks isn't turned ;(Anyway, considering it ends up being Rocks Pirates vs Roger + Garp, it it looking that he ends up being turned... We will see.
So I guess I gave you the inspiration to make Spoiler topics Vegy? My man!this isn't a spoiler topic, the chapter's been out for a few hours

Also, I can't tell by the spoilers, but it sounds likeIMU may actually be at God Valley, having transported there via Saturn.Granted, I'm unsure at the moment due to the spoilers being ambiguous. Some theories as of late things that IMU may actually be a silhouette, but who knows if that will be disproven soon or not.
Will respond more later.
this isn't a spoiler topic, the chapter's been out for a few hoursThanks for confirming it's out now and for the clarification. Will take a look.
either wayit's Imu possessing Saturn like what happened with Gunko
Hey Veggy got a theory for youI have seen that theory floated around before. Would be...appropriate.Remember that sword Imu was using to cut up pictures of Blackbeard, Shirohoshi,Luffy and Vivi? Do you think that sword once belonged to Rocks? it has the same hilt and guard the most recent opening shows this sword so watch that if you need a referesher I only noticed it after seeing Rocks launch that getsuga like attack to carve up the mountain so Eris could escape

Overall, turning Rocks from a chaotic evil bastard who forced Roger and Garp to team up into a chaotic neutral bastard who is probably going to be flipped by Imu is ultimately pretty boring turn of events. Not sure I agree. Rocks managed to take down Garling and potentially other Holy Knights without much trouble and managed to save the life of his son (and maybe wife)? Whatever happens now he is going off on a high note.
Teachs mom being a badass too, i hope she makes it outI'd also like for her to get off the island. Just, I expect she won't.
I'd also like for her to get off the island. Just, I expect she won't.the lulusia mention makes me think she may because otherwise it'd end up as a random namedrop, though that may mean she's still alive if she was on Sabo's refugee ship
Also, this is GOLD!I see Big Mom is getting the classic anime woman treatment.

LOL! Amazing Big Mom thinks that she owes Kaido anything after this. Kaido straight up brutally mugged her for the fruit she was going to give to Katakuri.
Also have some thoughts on IMU and some other things (like the comment about the destruction causing something else to be released), but can cover that later.

Whatever happens now he is going off on a high note.I don't mind Rocks having other motivations, but for 7 years we were led to believe he was basically just such a lunatic that Roger and Garp had no choice but to put him down. Now, Oda's shifted things around so much that it's going to just be all Imu's fault. It would be one thing if it was just all Oda's plan to mislead the reader through in-universe propaganda, but this flashback is already incongruent the other snippets of GV that we've seen prior.

Should be strong on paper, but seems to easily get clowned by the strong men.
It's not like Rocks is a good person, he just seems that way because of how he's currently presented, of course a guy trying to save his wife and child looks like the good guyHe wanted to take over the world by dethroning IMU. While he likely would be a hypothetical better ruler considering he isn't planning to sink most of the world below the ocean, that isn't a high bar.
I see Big Mom is getting the classic anime woman treatment. She was unstoppable during the Whole Cake Island arc and it took everything Kidd and Law had to put her down in the Wano arc. She got presented well.

Big Mom more than lived up to her hype in Whole Cake and WanoAgreed
Teach said he was an orphan. Eris is probably LONG dead in present dayI suspect her odds of getting off the island alive are slim.
the lulusia mention makes me think she may because otherwise it'd end up as a random namedrop, though that may mean she's still alive if she was on Sabo's refugee shipNo idea why she wanted to go to Lulusia. Always possible she took Teach there and died of an illness or a broken heart though. Who knows at this point.

It would be one thing if it was just all Oda's plan to mislead the reader through in-universe propaganda, but this flashback is already incongruent the other snippets of GV that we've seen prior. To be fair we readers were always aware that the world government is a propaganda machine. They actually forbid people from learning history from a certain time period, and they are constantly bribing morgans (who sometimes accepts those bribes and sometimes does not. Whatever he thinks would be the most entertaining) to control the news narrative.
Big Mom more than lived up to her hype in Whole Cake and WanoWhole Cake, yes. Wano, no.

This reminds me of how people were off put by Kidd killing all those people in Shanks vision, but forgot that he literally crucified people lol

now try to convince us White Beard is actually not just a total broDude just wanted a family and pledged his unconditional protection to Fishman-Island. Plus he was one of the few forces holding back a generation of much nastier pirates. Will be hard to argue against.
Is this like a flashback during Elbaf?Yep!
Also...how disappointing was dat cover story...smfh tbhI mean everyone is expecting Blackbeard to show up at Wano, claim Pluton, and probably destroy most of the island in the process. Guess they aren't going over that in a Cover Story though.
I'm happy we get extra content but man, i was expecting something huge at da end dere tbh
That was Linlin so she probably ditched immediately after kaido stole the fruit from herYet she was seen fighting with Rocks/Whitebeard/Kaido against Roger/Garp in earlier tellings of the events of God Valley. As such, I expect the betrayals to happen a little later.
this isn't a spoiler topic, the chapter's been out for a few hoursNote that on the 9th the chapter wasnt officially out yet in Japan even; it's all leaked copies. So it is technically a spoiler topic, manga fans are just used to reading scans taken from shonen jumps that "fell off the truck" as it were.
Yet she was seen fighting with Rocks/Whitebeard/Kaido against Roger/Garp in earlier tellings of the events of God Valley. As such, I expect the betrayals to happen a little later.
It seems that was more artistic license through an unreliable narrator. It makes zero sense with what's happening nowOnce you go down that rabbit hole, one can wonder if the whole Rocks + Crew vs Roger/Garp scenario is also the work of an unreliable narrator.
Well, yeah, it probably is. Everything Sengoku said there is pretty suspect at this juncture. You know... It wouldn't be too farfetched at this point. Still, actually telling a bunch of marines that Garp sided with Roger to defeat Rocks isn't something I presumed he would ever tell them if in fact it wasn't true in some capacity. Other than that, other points are fair game.
We saw Garp and Roger facing Rocks, Kaido, Whitebeard, and Big Mom in that little "Flashback." It seems very clear that was artistic license on his part. Sure, Garp and Roger may need to team up if Rocks gets Domi Reversi'd, but this was not "Rocks came to kill everyone and plunder stuff Garp and Roger needed to team up to stop him!"Could be. Granted, beyond Rocks being Domi Reversi's and leading to such a scenario, it isn't the only possible path.
Also...how disappointing was dat cover story...smfh tbhI got to see Page one turn into a good guy and I got to see okiku so Im happy with it
I'm happy we get extra content but man, i was expecting something huge at da end dere tbh
My disappointment in garp only grows tbh
How can he continue working for dese evil bastards tbh
also....is Imu possessing saturn really gonna pack up rocks, roger, and whitebeard lolI'm mulling that over honestly. As I mentioned, the question is can non-Nika individuals repel (as in force him back short of actually defeating) IMU possessing an immortal being already a part of his power (Saturn)?
