I don't think hardcore MAGA actually supported free speech, as right-wing politics are traditionally antithetical to freedom of expression. This point, while I understand comes off as inflammatory shit talking on the surface level, can be supported via the historical precedent that of banning "dangerous speech" in places like school libraries and even book burning. It's simply another traditional American value that they've twisted to provoke an emotional reaction used to manipulate others.

MAGAs reaction to this soundbit would simply to try to paint their opponents as hypocrites. "Oh I thought the left would support this with all this chanting about freedom of speech vs freedom of consequence". We saw exactly this happening when they tried to systematically destroy the lives of anyone who dared speak about Charlie Kirk in even objective terms.
