The one in World 3-1 with the koopa troopa, I've never got it to work
The shadows I live with are numberless
I did it for the first time recently. It's FAR more annoying to do than it appears, and the timing feels random.
Kind reminder not to defend corporations when they make dumb/anti-consumer decisions.
if it feels random, the sub-pixel might be involved in the calculations.

i have gotten it to work, but you need to drop a save state right before and practice if you want to do it in a run.

my best advice is to be kind of centered on the block below the one that the turtle shell is on. if you land on the same level as the shell when you fuck it up, you were too far to the right. ask me any specifics if you need clarification.

I think I tried the negative EXP one in Super Paper Mario just to see it.
Yes.
There are other places in the game where you can do it. 3-1 is just the easiest.
"It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness. That is life."
I never succeeded at pulling it off, but to be fair I also never tried particularly hard, unlike with the 100 jumps in Super Mario RPG (which I also never succeeded at)
Yep, albeit in the 3DS version where I was able to make a restore point right before it to make it quicker to retry. You do have to be careful though, as if you keep going there isn't a cap, it just eventually rolls over into the negatives, and a death with negative lives is a game over.
I did it one time. IIRC I had so many extra men they were displayed as a crown instead of a number.
I only appear to be out of line because I am the only one who is in line.

That actually happens pretty quickly, a two or three digit life count has the tens number displayed as a crown (and no hundreds digit even if you have 100+ lives). So 0-9 are just the number, 10-19 are a crown followed by the ones number, 20-45 are a crown followed by a letter from A-Z in order, 46 is a crown followed by an empty space, and after that it's a crown followed by a shape or symbol or graphic.
Ive tried and failed, but I was also just a child
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...
No.

Learned about it only a few years ago, did only a half-hearted attempt to try it before giving up.

Never needed that many extra lives in that game anyway.

I did it once as a young lad, and I've never been able to replicate it. In that moment I vividly remember feeling like some kind of god lol

Nearly every time I've played the game since I was 10. I rarely warp anymore, so I like to have a bunch of lives just in case I'm having an off day. Plus it's always just a fun trick to do.

I did it once years ago just to do it.
The commercial says that Church isn't for perfect people, I guess that's why I'm an atheist.
I can do it at will. It's easy to do.....
There's enough attention whores on CE already
Failed every time. One day, I might attempt it, but I'd definitely save spam on an emulator.

I think once. It's trickier to do than the Minus World.
...I think I'm done here...
