I know this article is a month old, but it's still so frustrating to actually have this conversation some 30-years after Doom came out

The only thing that has ever been proven to increase gun violence is poor gun laws. And the only thing that has been proven to decrease gun violence is gun control. Everything from video games to The Matrix to industrial metal has been pinned on increasing gun violence, and none of them have been proven to actually have substantial impact on it.
