Apparently not, as I saw someone on the Switch 2 board complaining that it only supports motion controls , whereas the 3D All-Stars version let you disable them.Wow really? That fucking sucks.
I don't know if I want to buy both since I have Galaxy from the collection already. Is the increased resolution worth double dipping?Probably not for another $30 or $40.

Wow...
So it's actually a worse version then.
Don't get me wrong, the motion controls in Galaxy are fine, but removing the option to disable is a bad call

Damn. My interest just plummeted to 0
I didn't mind during the wii era because I was a good 15 years younger and was able to handle motion controls etc, but I'm too old for that stuff now.
That post is not true though. In All Stars, you were able to set the spin attack to Y, which you can still do in the newest version. Also, in All Stars, handheld mode was awful because you had to use touch controls for the menus and the cursor, the right stick could NOT be used. In the newest version you can use the left stick to maneuver through the menus and gyro while in handheld mode.
So this version is definitely improved. The biggest reason I never played Galaxy in All Stars was the touch controls, cuz I rarely play the switch docked.
Also, come on maaaaaaan. You're not too old! You're never too old!
