Tetris.

It's got really elegant design. I just don't find it that fun. Maybe I'm just mad because you always lose in the end.

BG3 is completely deserving of all of its accolades, but it was one of the most miserable and grueling experiences I've ever played.

Tetris is the closest thing to a perfect game I know. Not saying everyone has to like it or find it fun. You can dress it up all fancy, but it doesn't need it. It's just such an elegant, simple, yet limitless, challenge.

Pokmon Mystery Dungeon is popular, right? Never cared for those games.

Grand Theft auto. I'm not big on the genre itself, and usually only end up liking open world games because of other aspects of it.
You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.

Dark Souls for me. There's a lot of things about those games I find appealing, namely the art design and the interconnected level design, but I do not find them fun to play.

I dont hate BK, but it was always worse Mario/DK to me.
Favorite series: Super Robot Wars, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Tales, Megami Tensei, FF (I-X), Suikoden, Lunar, Phantasy Star, Shining Force, SoulCal, and more!

This is always my answer. I have been gaming since Pong and Atari 2600, and I feel left out of a big part of gaming culture because of this.

I finished and had a good time with GTA 3, but I have no urge to play it again. I have played to various degrees and put down Vice City and IV. I just find these games kind of shallow and boring. All the quests are go here, deliver object, fight things, come back for next job. I just dont like the loop.

I am sure I will pick up VI eventually-there will be no escaping it. But my history with the franchise makes it likely I wont roll credits. I wish I did like these games and was part of the phenomenon-they just leave me cold.

An opinion does not turn into a fact simply because the person holding it feels strongly about it.

Uncharted and TLOU. They're good games, but there's occasionally games where the immediate game feel of moving the characters around turns me off and ruins the whole experience, and both of those suffer from it.

I could not get into Gears Of War, I only ever played the first and wasnt into it. I played through the whole thing, but dont remember much about it now, except I wasnt into it.

The thing about Sonic is, Adventure 1 and Generations are the only two good platformers in the series. The Genesis ones are just popular because the Genesis didn't have any good platformers and they were among the most bearable.

Same. I think I'm just not good enough at them to enjoy 'em. It always feels like a slog to me.

Love all their esthetics, though.
My favourite dinosaur is the Triceratops.

Definitely GTA, but I liked the first Saint's Row quite a lot which is weird.

Most sports games and FPS/TPS. I'll play the Halo and Gears campaigns with my friend when they come out (though we're a bit behind on both series), but Apex Legends is the only FPS I've really loved and NBA Street/Jam are among the only sports games I vibe with.
