The last game I played with one of the guys told us to get a life. I don't think that was fair to say. I only put like, 4 hours'ish into the MP so far, and none of us was actually talking this time around =(

I think there has been some complaints about the ol' host advantage still being around despite the dedicated servers running, but I believe there just probably isn't many of them up in general and so sometimes a ping advantage can feel pretty blatant. A separate dude called us host sluts.

This game apparently made over 1 million sales so that is great. I just want gears 3 remastered eventually for that sweet versus, horde and beast action.

it feels like everytime they try to update the shotty it gets worse and the longshot is a magnet for heads and needs a nerf but they havent touched that
But its still better than cod or battlefield to me easily

Yeah they should have left the gnasher like it was in the reloaded beta. I know they can't do too many drastic changes (like the shots coming from the center of the screen thing for gears 1) since reloaded is still that same gears of war 1 code under all the shiny repaint, but I really do think the gnasher we had in the beta was better than the sniper gnasher we have now in the main game.

ive noticed people are so scared to push anybody compared to how Gears used to be. they just want to camp their spawns or are too afraid to go passed the mid point and it kinda makes games feel alot slower
also, i LOVE when people shoot with the lancer from behind and get maybe a bullet or two in to let the enemies know that we're on their 6. i like to flank or go where people dont expect. i dont see the reasoning in letting them know we're behind them lol

I guess with how vicious these unactive mid-range 1 shot gnasher downs can be (and trust me I done got my fair share of getting blasted with these one hit downs. We can't even use active reload boosts in 2v2 gnashers so its definitely just the standard shots) that is making a ton of people who really care about their kill death ratios pussy-foot around.

I agree though. I eventually have enough with the taking potshots from across the room teasing and I want to get down close into the nitty gritty.

One of those matches where I was mixing it up with the xbox fellahs and that down at 2:19 where the cole train and locust down one another from that far is bonkers. *This that same game where dude was complaining about host, but its like we are on dedicated servers and I don't know he got a zanny kill or two on me also.*

Gears 3 pvp is about as polished as a third person shooter can get. Just playing it feels like rolling a high grade pearl between your fingers.

I have genuinely been having a lot of fun revisiting another version of gears of war 1 though. In just the short amount of time that this game has released I have heard more people talking and texting in the public channel and have added more friends (like 3 PSN guys and a handful of the microsoft crossplay friends list peoples) than I have on general PSN play in like, 3 years. A nice mix between good games and shit talking.

At some point I need to switch my HDMI inputs and put my elgato capture card on my PS5's because some of the things I've heard have been pretty funny (but the PS5's built in recording didn't capture it since a lot of people don't know/don't want to share their voice on recorded clips) not going to lie.

This gears reloaded re-release is apparently selling really well among the playstation crowd and so the moment microsoft capitalizes on this and everyone gets access to that sweet, sweet gears of war 3 gameplay is coming ever closer. God I can't wait.
