I always thought FF6 was a bit overrated to be honest.
It's not a bad game by any means, but it never really "clicked" with me the way other FF games did and I don't put it up on a pedestal the way a lot of other FF fans do.
Interesting! What was your first Final Fantasy game? Mine was FFIV (well, FFII at the time) and the jump in presentation quality with FFIII/FFVI really blew my mind at the time. I loved Mafia 3, I'm a big fan of map takeover games and I really enjoyed the gameplay loop they used for it in that game.It's definitely the kind of game that I have to be in the right mood for, but thankfully I'm really enjoying it a lot more this time around then when I last tried to play it a couple years back.
update when possible if it fixes itself.it works!! and can play disc games now, but I tried playing the PSN version of persona 4 and the system immediately shut off lol :(
if the thing powers on and it doesn't read discs... 95% sure that's the problem that will get resolved (just a huge PITA to take the whole damn thing apart and switch out the part.

I waited well over a decade for news about Skate 4 and hearing that pretty much killed all the hype I had for it.
I also gotta get my PS3 fixed so I can replay some Skate. It sucks that none of them are available digitally.
