If you are truly just "a bit" overweight I think potential side effects from long term prescription usage would be worse than just being a bit overweight. If you are doing this for health reasons that is my view. If you are doing it just for image then that is a decision you have to weigh the consequences.

If you do get them. Make sure you monitor your health with your doctor while on them.

I sometimes binge eat snacks at night >_> which is why Im curious about those drugs that suppress appetite

that would do it, depends on consumption of calorie amount by day which may increase weight gain :(.

i'm thinking about cutting out the empty calorie snacks (chips of any type is bad).
desserts occasionally may stay.

Wegovy is gonna be expensive since its not covered by insurance.
Seems extreme to take a weight loss drug at just 200lbs, especially if you're only trying to get back to 180lbs.

Oh, and my mom was diabetic, and honestly Im just curious to see if Im pre-diabetic. I guess if I can answer that I can be more readily informed about those injections. I remember my mom had Ozempic way before it became a huge thing

You would beed to take a blood text to find out if you are.
Narutaki was right. This is all Decade's fault.
I was put on Rybelsus and I dont feel like its working. I may switch over to Ozempic soon.
You can discuss with your PCP and see what they recommend. I think you need to change your snacking habit before jumping on medication though. Once you stop the medicine, you might gain all the weight again because you didn't change your binge snacking.
