Santa is a servant?

Setanta was Cu Chulainn's childhood name. In FGO, he goes by that name when summoned as a Saber.

As for Santa being a Servant...it's complicated. Each year in FGO, an existing Servant "becomes" Santa, and it manifests in different ways. Saint Nicholas himself has never actually appeared.

Why would he want to be known as setanta when he knew what his real name is. Did he felt unworthy to be called Cu-something but the weird part is how did he was able to be summoned as a child when his adult berserker form exist alongside his master Goddess of Lancer herself Skadi.
:D
You have so many things wrong in that post that I'm not even sure how to respond. Regardless, we're getting off-topic.

my original post was meant to be a pun.

setanta is his original name. he takes the name Cu Chulainn when he kills the hound of Chulainn the blacksmith. Cu means hound, he's literally calling himself the hound of Chulainn as a replacement for the hound he killed.

the saber version in FGO is a child, essentially he is the version of himself before he gained his more famous name.
Taarsidath-an halsaam.

Isn't he not from the arcade multiverse alongside Dracovish, lady molay that later possessed by the arcade version of himself?

there's a version in both, but that doesn't change what he is as a servant, a version of himself before he kills and becomes the hound.

Battle is likely close to over. To be honest, Im not too impressed with Kotomine or Gilgamesh as characters. Gilgamesh I can see that being intentional, to a point, but not sure about the other one

Mostly posting now because I got to the point Shirou projects the sheath. He mentioned earlier it would take a minute to build the sword from scratch (I forget exactly how it was said), and it had me thinking that he should be able to make the sheath faster, and here we have it.
Well keep in mind that there's still two other routes. More time to get to know the characters under slightly different circumstances.

I dont have too much more to say from the last post. Considering how Tsukihime went, I wasnt really surprised with the ending, well, they spelled it out in advance what would happen. The sense of normalcy is nice. I was initially a bit resistant due to the switch from Rin, but it came full circle in a fairly satisfying way.

Just to make sure, I made a save on the choice that I believe sends you to the 2nd route. If I load that save, it still detects that Ive beaten the game and will let me continue, right? I assume a flag was set thats sorta outside the basic save system, but Id like to be sure.

Yeah I get thats how it usually goes, but I was a bit uncertain with Kotomine in particular, since he came off as the particularly important big bad figure, so I wasnt certain if hed get a sufficient amount more attention in the others.

The choice doesn't actually exist until you've cleared the Fate route once. But yes, if you load a save from before the start of that scene, it should appear.

To be clear, the choice is on day 3 when Saber is about to fight Archer after driving Lancer away. You now have the choice to stop her from attacking, which will lead into UBW.

Since you mentioned saving on a choice, I assume you're talking about the one where Rin asks if you'll team up with her? That actually leads to one of the crueler bad ends in the game. It suddenly puts you on the UBW route for a day, but then removes the option to make a choice that would let you avoid a bad end. You can still get said bad end within a proper UBW run too, of course.
