Santa is a servant?
Setanta was Cu Chulainn's childhood name. In FGO, he goes by that name when summoned as a Saber. Why would he want to be known as setanta when he knew what his real name is. Did he felt unworthy to be called Cu-something but the weird part is how did he was able to be summoned as a child when his adult berserker form exist alongside his master Goddess of Lancer herself Skadi.
As for Santa being a Servant...it's complicated. Each year in FGO, an existing Servant "becomes" Santa, and it manifests in different ways. Saint Nicholas himself has never actually appeared.

my original post was meant to be a pun.Isn't he not from the arcade multiverse alongside Dracovish, lady molay that later possessed by the arcade version of himself?
setanta is his original name. he takes the name Cu Chulainn when he kills the hound of Chulainn the blacksmith. Cu means hound, he's literally calling himself the hound of Chulainn as a replacement for the hound he killed.
the saber version in FGO is a child, essentially he is the version of himself before he gained his more famous name.
Isn't he not from the arcade multiverse alongside Dracovish, lady molay that later possessed by the arcade version of himself?there's a version in both, but that doesn't change what he is as a servant, a version of himself before he kills and becomes the hound.
Well keep in mind that there's still two other routes. More time to get to know the characters under slightly different circumstances.Yeah I get thats how it usually goes, but I was a bit uncertain with Kotomine in particular, since he came off as the particularly important big bad figure, so I wasnt certain if hed get a sufficient amount more attention in the others.
Just to make sure, I made a save on the choice that I believe sends you to the 2nd route. If I load that save, it still detects that Ive beaten the game and will let me continue, right? I assume a flag was set thats sorta outside the basic save system, but Id like to be sure.
