I just see VTuber clips and obscure video game trivia. As I say every time this is brought up, the front page recommendations are based on your recent watch history. You can control what it recommends you by curating the history page.

You don't even need to do that. Just delete it from your history when you're done it and it won't be factored in.

I never click political news on youtube for fear that the algorithm will turn the app into another depression generator. Got enough of those on my phone already.

I imagine it's more work to do that rather than just right-clicking on a clip and selecting private window.
