Judging by his tweets recently he's really pissed about the Big Bill (not gonna use the stupid name for it). He said he would fund primary challengers against anyone who voted for it if it's the last thing he ever does.

He's pissed for the wrong reasons of course because he's Elon and he's garbage but if Democrats were smart they could work with that to regain the majority. Work with that reality, not work with Elon I should clarify.

I don't trust him. I feel like there's something else nefarious with this. I mean yes, it's clear this would 'split' the vote but I see another '2020 dem primary' situation where maybe, just maybe this whole idea is to groom never-trumpers to the right, kind of soften them to right-wing politics, then kill the party closer to the election and endorse Trump again or something.

If this ISN'T the plan, Musk is an absolute moron. I just don't know. The right wing does a damn good job at manipulating the whole entire country and I feel this could be one of those tactics where Trump and Musk are just pretending or something that they are pissed with each other.
