If the major conferences ever had 20-24 teams or something?

I think the Group of Five should send their best teams to a separate competition, too. Top few from each, while their usual conference continues... Since they have no TV deal or attention rn anyway

If you mean NFL players in college games, then no

I'm not into sports really very much. And definitely not Football. But I recognize that would ruin the sport. Also I think my brother and dad would agree. They actually watch college sports (basketball and football) and pretty much ignore I think NBA and NFL. They only like college because they feel in college you actually have passion for the game. Pros just play for money.
No. I don't think it's realistic that some D2 or even an FCS school would ever recruit to the level necessary for promotion to a higher level.

Plus some of those student athletes are actually in school for their degree and while I know schools already prioritize football over school I think this would just create chaos for a lot of kids who were hoping their D2 scholarship would carry them for 4 years before they could get a job with their dad at the car dealership

Not really, because every team's roster changes pretty significantly every season, even more so in the NIL and transfer portal era
I know it might be wrong, but I'm in love with Stacy's dong
They've already fucked it up with bi-coastal "conferences." Might as well keep profaning the sport even further.

I mean within the SEC and Big Ten, if they're ever able to support sets of 10-12 teams

Each conference having a Division One and Division Two

It sucks because football pays for the other university sports, only football conferences are making it impossible

Imagine being on UCLA baseball or basketball right now, flying to the East Coast and Midwest constantly

I'm not familiar with the ecosystem of college sports but probably.

Pro/reg works really well in leagues that's utilize it but unfortunately, probably won't work as well in the franchise model of American sports but maybe college sports could be different situation.
