I dont think they ever auto modded for censor bypassing shit? As far as Im aware the only censor bypasses that actually triggered an automatic (as in without human intervention and happened almost immediately) moderation was some very simple CBs of the N word.

Or are you referencing when enough marks would trigger a moderation without a moderator acting?

Advice from a dryer: Open the door to amazement. Don't shrink from your true calling. Accept life's wrinkles. Avoid overload. Reach into mystery!
Absolutely. Just recently I got moderated for leaking something and they interpreted it as speculation when I know for a fact it's going to happen, and not far in the future for that matter.

I've only once been modded and received a warning. At the time it seemed like a harmless thing to say. All I will say is that the culture here in Australia is somewhat different to the rest of the world when it comes to some swear words. Here they can have multiple meanings, and not necessarily bad. In hindsight I used a poor choice of word.

That is all I'll say on the matter.

Hmm.. well, probably not believable, but gonna say that all the times Ive ever been modded have been 100% fair.

Borderline, maybe? But nothing I felt the need to ever try and dispute.

Guess Im just a troublesome bum.

I got modded for calling myself an asshole and there was 0 ambiguity of who I was talking about. Lol

Yes. I got a topic deleted because I recognized (as an autistic person myself) some possible signs of autism for Barry Allen in the recent Flash movie. A mod thought I was making fun of autism

You have to be extremely careful discussing that subject on here. Every crumb of your phrasing will be scrutinized harder than on any other topic, by users and mods alike. I recently held a poll about it and made sure to proof-read it like 8 times.

Mods, you know what to do.

I've got modded because a mod deliberately misrepresented a post before.

Not a misunderstanding.

Shouldve disputed that, theyve explicitly said on numerous occasions its fine to flame yourself (as long as the flame in question isnt moddable for any other reason, and youre flaming the account youre posting from (or just me) and not an alt that they technically cant reveal if its actually you or not).
Have we always had the ability to dispute moderations? Im asking because either this happened before that, or if we have, I didnt have the option at the time.
my favorite moderation was from spoiling the end to titanic, apparently it is considered a spoiler to say that the boat sinks . i can only assume the mod misunderstood me and though i was talking about another movie dealing with another ship accidentally named titanic and not the movie based around the widely known historical event.

i dont think they appreciated the dispute when i asked if it would be a spoiler to reveal that in the movie pearl harbor the japanese bomb pearl harbor .

yes many times, including my most recent moderation
i believe quite a few years ago were intentional misrepresentation as well rather than a simple misunderstanding
There's a difference between misunderstanding and doesn't even fucking care to understand.

Mods comes to the latter.

It may have been one of those people who didn't know Titanic actually happened. I remember over 10 years ago it was the 100th anniversary of The Titanic sinking. This got spread on Facebook and suddenly tons of people were expressing shock to learn it was a real event and not just a movie

The "based on real events" tag has been whored enough, people actually surprised that it really was real.

the problem with that is the basic idea that you can somehow spoil history. by that reasoning it would be a spoiler to say that the germans lose at the end of saving private ryan. really it was just a mod on a power trip.

Wouldnt the other way around be more likely? Speculation generally isnt moddable.

Yes. I have a suspension from sarcastically shit taking a trabsphobe, and the mod put in the comments some bullshit shot at me assuming I was transphobic

Knowing SketchDog's history, he posted it as 100% fact since he has a fake leaker gimmick.

You can't just make shit up with no source and claim it's fact, which he does all the time.

I think it was the end of lost for me in a topic asking to explain the end of lost. Anyone entering that topic had already seen it. And was looking explain it.
All the iron turn to rust. All the proud men turn to dust. All things time will mend
I suspect my last 2 moderations were based on misunderstandings of what I said
I suspect (at least) one was probably a troll twisting my words and a moderator going along with the troll and ignoring my appeal.
Though, I am guessing as the only explanation for the moderation was "trolling" (and I wan't trolling), I didn't think to query it on "Ask the mods" and I had no response to my appeals

I got banned 20+ years ago for submitting a fake review for a game that wasnt released yet, and it got accepted. GF actually changed their TOS based on that and the aftermath of it.

this was during the LUE era where you could get banned for posting ascii art of Mario riding Yoshi
