Bosses are immune to the eat command so it won't be possible to end the final boss fight of the game by eating it.

If you read the page, it does generally have a vestigial tail.
The boneless vestigial tail is greatly reduced compared with other macaque species and, if not absent, measures 422 mm (0.160.87 in).
The tail being absent is an uncommon mutation.

I might be the only person on this board who gets this reference. Even people who grew up with VeggieTales are probably too old to know that particular Silly Song since it's a later one.
