Since Canada Day is on a Tuesday this year my boss is giving everyone Monday off (with pay) as well.

Any of ya'll getting the Monday off or maybe taking a vacation day?

Wow, lucky. I'm not getting a 4 day weekend but I took a vacation day to make it a 4 day weekend.

i'm not employed so no vacation for me

all my bills are about to hit too.

and the BC Income Support system is being hella slow. I applied 2 months ago

I do have Monday off, but that's because I always have Mondays off. It's still just a 2 day weekend for me, Sunday and Monday, I am still working on Tuesday itself, but hey, that just means my next paycheque will be better.

I was planning on booking the Monday off, so it was a nice surprise when I found out I didn't have to.
