Im in Kyoto where its supposed to cooler than back home, lol.
I am not. In fact, I'm being quite soundly defeated by the heat.
Let's go to sleep in Paris, wake up in Tokyo.
my current apartment is small enough that only 1 window AC actually seems to be enough, at least once the sun starts to go down. I'm unlucky and the mid day sun hits my apartment from 3 different directions, and the afternoon sun hits it from two.

I still have a fan that I had pointed right at me for the first 4-5 hours after I got home.
I could see you, but I couldn't hear you You were holding your hat in the breeze Turning away from me In this moment you were stolen...
My office is aggressively air conditioned, and my home is clement. The only difficulty will be in getting from one to the other.

Normally I walk to a metro station a mile from home, take metro a few stops away from work, and stroll in enjoying the sights downtown. If it's too hot in the morning, I'll skip the walk before work and just go to the closest stop. If it's too hot in the evening when I get off the metro near home, I might even wait for a bus instead of walking a mile uphill.

Chivalry be hanged, and so will you.
Living in the Pacific Northwest is a good barrier from heatwaves, though we sometimes can get toasty on rare occasions.

Central air system. Hopefully, we don't get hit with a blackout during this heat wave.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Inside. A/C set to 74F (23.3C). Fans aimed at me.

Its 95F (35C) with 60% humidity. Im more concerned with making the house less humid with the A/C than keeping things super cold.
that was here today

sucked

had to run errands

I have to go in the office on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Since my office was freezing on previous days when it was cold out, I expect it will be a furnace when I would actually prefer it to be cooler.

Days?!? I live in Las Vegas. It'll be like this for the next 2:months at least.
Narutaki was right. This is all Decade's fault.
Having a cold beer in a cold shower is fucking great on days like today.
Save for your doomed future
My job has decided that due to the extreme heat this week and the fact that everybody works outdoors, they're going to make everybody come in an hour earlier. We're not closing an hour earlier, we just get an extra hour in the heat BECAUSE of the heat.
It's gonna be below 30 C for the next 10 days so. I don't really have to do anything.

Bathroom floors tend to be cool. Not one's first choice but better than a heat stroke.
