Yes. It is hands down one of the most charming films that I have ever watched.

It's a beautiful movie, but I always had this stubborn prejudice against the whole "what if Peter Pan did grow up?" thing. You just can't help but like it, though; it's charming af.

I loved it as a kid and still love it as an adult even with the flaws. The third act is a little eh before the fight. The film is magical.

The SNES game was fun too. Great soundtrack like the film.

The Amiga game that was a straight-up ripoff of Monkey Island right down to the insult swordfighting was pretty great. I liked the GB game, too.

I always thought that pie-type thing was cake frosting... no cake at all, just the frosting. And it sure seemed that way when they started flinging it at each other.

Its reception was definitely mixed back in the day. I think it was a bit ahead of its time in terms of both "kids movie that isn't really for kids" and "your childhood hero is now a middle-aged sad sack." General audiences looking for a simple family film just weren't ready for stuff like Hoffman and Hoskins hamming it up as an old gay couple, playing creepy mind games with Peter's kids, and Hook being openly suicidal.
