CPU should be fine for 60fpsNice. As long as I can get 60fps on my also ancient 1080p asus monitor then I am good to go.
Lots of people still run systems with oldish CPUs + recent GPUs. You wont break any world records for frame rates with such a setup, but you should be able to play your games.Honestly I really do appreciate the friends I have. The amount of times they came through for me is wild.
And hey, it was free.
I have a 6700 XT and an i7 8700, it is a severe bottleneck in games that are CPU intensive. I struggle to get 60fps in even GTA5.Yeah I figure with CPU intensive games I'd be pretty screwed. I plan on keeping it to the smaller type of games for now. I may see if I can run the PC versions of FF7 remake and rebirth at some point for the mods.

But I'd assume that's due to the game being less CPU dependant compared to GTA5? Not really sure honestly, just know that it's a bit funny to me.
