Zelda as of late (it's why Zelda moved off the top spot as my favorite Nintendo series to be replaced by Metroid).

I wasn't actually commenting on mario kart specifically, but I get that the screenshot implies that. I've just noticed historically that these sorts of youtubers really pull their punches even when they're trying to level fair and valid criticism.

I don't know if you can know for sure why they aren't more harsh about certain things. It could be because they don't want to lose access or they don't think their audience would like it, but it can also be that the things that bother you about a product don't bother others nearly as much. A reviewer can only speak to their own experience and their own opinions on a product, which may not line up with yours.

Nah, I was initially going to post in there anyway, I just saw this topic at the same time while in the middle of posting and decided to make it relevant. Tame Nintendo reviewers are balanced by anti-Nintendos who are next level unhinged.

GTA6 wouldn't change anything as it is treated as a special game that comes once a decade by its own fans. Like Diablo 4 which also had a greedy price tag and despite people paying it games are not $100 now

People will call them greedy for it and their fans will defend it. Ubisoft tried already and failed.
