Nope. Chances of me buying one of these Xbox handhelds are slim, and on the off chance I ever did, I would certainly go for the cheaper Xbox Ally and not the X.

I don't need it as I have a steam deck and Switch 2. I can only imagine how much its going to cost knowing it has 24 gigs of memory.

It has a newer processor, that could give it 10-15% higher clocks, as well as AI stuff. Also Xbox grips.

I'm considering it. I don't have a working PC at the moment.
A system that can run steam and Xbox games natively is appealing. Also full access to game pass.
It had my attention, even if the price in Canada is fucking stupid.

Is it a new version of windows or is it just regular windows with some settings changed to auto-launch the Xbox app etc? Cause I already configured my OG ROG ally to auto-launch stream big picture so its basically a bootleg steam deck with more specs/compatability

When they showed it going through some menus, it didn't look like normal Windows, but I don't think it looked like the existing Xbox app either. I could be mistaken, but it looked like something new entirely.

Depending on price, most likely. I've been slowly moving more portable with gaming, like I ditched my desktop for a high end gaming laptop so I can take it anywhere. A handheld gaming PC would be great for playing games before bed or on a plane or something.

My friend group plays this most nights and on Xbox only with no crossplay. I'm pretty disappointed it seems like that isn't an option.

If you get them through the Xbox app it'll use your Xbox account. I'm not sure how that affects crossplay though.
