I tried using the oven for the first time today to make cinnamon rolls, but I accidentally put it on the setting that the flame was only on the top. It completely burnt everything to a crisp and now the whole house smells awful. I was specifically told not to use the stove and that my parents would bring me lunch after they ran errands.

I don't have a lot of time, I've sprayed Lysol but you can still smell/taste the smoke. I'm in panic mode.

Put a bowl of bicarbonate of soda out.

It absorbs smells.

I'm my experience aerosol cans are pretty bad at getting rid of odors like smoke. Just makes it smell like smokey linens.

windows, doors and get a fan going

if time and distance permit, run to a gas station and buy Ozium, it is by far the best spray for neutralizing smell

While I know this is a joke topic I love how TC has slung together the details. Not only were they trying to make something that would make the entire house smell like someone had used the oven, they broiled it and said they weren't supposed to use the stove which isn't the same as either.

Ozium is the best of the bunch but it also has a distinct smell if you dont have enough time to let it settle. they're gonna think youre smoking weed if they smell that lmao

theyre prolly squares i doubt theyd associate it with pot

tho if it doesnt dissipate it will smell like cover-up yea. it doesnt last as long as it used to at least

was it a toaster oven or something? no range oven i've ever seen has heating elements on the top.

It's for when you really need to get a smell out of the house. Does not actually solve the problem if you have moldy or decaying smells in your house.
