Assume others don't want to live on rice and beans or whatever other poverty-esque meals you're making. Heck, chicken breast is relatively cheap and that's like $2.50 a pound. A gallon of water is $2 where I am.
Thing is we don't really eat poverty meals as you'd assume from that low of a budget.
Our breakfasts for the past week have been roasted potatoes, ham (seriously Target is the MVP here, after Easter every year we get a ham for 99/lb then they throw in a half off coupon and we have ham for the next 6 months for basically nothing), egg, and some cheese.
