He gets better, But I watched the Gex episode again as I only saw the first game and maybe I just don't like that series and that was annoying as a game Who liked Gex anyway? Also where did the hair go? but haha I liked his OG contributors back in the day.I actually really liked his Gex episode.
Let's HUNKER DOWN and you get back behind my couch!
*ahem* He's gonna take you back to the past.
im surprised both AVGN and Nostalgia Critic have managed to last this long even if they both fell off at this point... lolNostalgia Critic is the one that surprises me that it's still going. All AVGN episodes surpass a million views, whereas the Critic rarely gets to 200k.

Incorrect. Lol one of his best episodes was made in 2013
I'm going to watch some AVGNs again thanks to this topic. Thanks TC.hell yeah brother
Nope. Double Vision and the Atari 5200 episodes came out long before that.he said "one of"
One guy? No continues?the sheer fucking unhingedness of this one might be the most most he's ever been
^ Ha how old is that picture. I remember AVGN and him had a feud just because controversy builds interest. Even if felt like a very pro wrestling thing which is fine. I don't remember that very well because I didn't watch the Nostalgia Critic.
Amateur photos are kewl btw.
There isn't a lot of stuff I watch on the Internet but I have watched and still watch AVGN and love it. I like it because it mirrors my growing up even though I'm about 4 years older than him. Some of the games and specific spots he points out I literally complained about and had the same reactions to like on TMNT and landing the plane in Top Gun. I laughed so hard at that stuff watching it. I had massive nostalgia trips with Ninja Gaiden though I actually was able to beat that game unlike them.100% this, loved the info and detailing issues with the games parts best
Where I really truly enjoy him though is when he isn't being over the top with the nerd character but just kind of talking and giving you background information about the game, development, company, stuff like that. He has some really good tidbits and just general opinions and insights on the game and what it was like at the time like yeah it doesn't look like much now but at the time it was pretty impressive and kind of mindblowing.
I really liked here in recent history where he has been highlighting good games and he did my favorite NES game Blaster Master. Fucking awesome game and I have heard him use the music from it in other videos but never covered any thing about it.
So yeah I'm a fan, will always be a fan and I enjoy his stuff. But yeah it doesn't need to be the over the top skits with like games blowing up and shit. Just talk about it man haha.
he just released a Dragon's Lair revisit
it's really nice to see him still doing elaborate skits, i kno some people dont like those but i love them. though he does sound tired and disinterested, hope im not reading too much into it but it makes me sad
time is evil
AVGN's best videos overall are the console review videos. Just covers so much inane contentThe Amiga CD-32 is probably my favorite episode. Especially when he gets to Surf Ninjas.
