People who voted for him once or twice are the ones that fascinate me. I tried to come up with some possible reasonings, but I don't even believe half of them.

I'm not even sure the Clinton/Trump/Harris voter exists.

I'm VERY THANKFUL not to have MAGA-supporting parents.

I know my mom and uncle voted for him for his first term just to immediately regret it incredibly quickly and be anti-trump ever since.
Who is? I am!
I'm 49 years old and while I know my dad stays informed and votes we have never once had a political discussion. My entire family keeps to themselves about that stuff. Grandparents on down. I'm actually very glad about that. I think it would be exhausting when people know how every friend, coworker, neighbor, and family member stands on politics like much of CE seems to know. And those rare people who approach you in the grocery store or someplace like Target/Wal-Mart and just randomly say something political to you? Yeah fucking weirdos.

I have my gut feeling my dad votes democrat just because he believes in science, vaccines, climate change and so on but I'm only speculating.

My dad voted for Trump in 2016 but died in 2018 before he could vote for him a second or third time. I'm sure he would have if he'd still been alive, though.

I'm not sure how my mom voted in 2016, but I know she voted for Biden in 2020. She died in 2022.

Most of my immediate family is MAGA, so I know they knowingly and enthusiastically voted for that garbage.

They started to do the whole "don't talk politics around us" thing around the 2024 election, which is MAGA code for "listen to us rail on democrats at every opportunity, but the second you start to point out how terrible Trump is, we don't want to hear it because our precious fee-fees".

Then they tried to tell me that blatant nazi salutes were not blatant nazi salutes, so I disowned them, and haven't looked back.
The republican party cheered nazi salutes on stage.
The American experiment is over. We failed.
My mom is a never-Trump Republican. My dad doesn't vote.

My parents are pinko liberal communists
None. My folks moved left during W's years.
No real clue about my dad. Don't talk to him.

I wouldn't be surprised if my mom had in 2016 and 2020 but a comment she made off hand makes me think she might have voted Harris in 2024. I do know her mom voted Trump in 2024 and likely in 16/20.
The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt.
My mom has voted for him all three times... My dad passed before he could vote a third time but he would've...

My dad definitely voted for him the first two times. Actually he was convinced that he was a good thing. Despite my efforts to convince him otherwise...
I'm not sure about the third, but probably still yes. He was unhappier with Trump after the Jan 6 stuff, and he was even talking about voting RFK. (Which is, um, not exactly better...) But I don't see him voting democrat ever, and he more likely than not still voted for Trump.

My mom despises Trump, maybe even more than I do (somehow), but she never votes.
To be fair we live in Maryland, where presidential votes basically do not matter.
What a fuddy duddy.
0, because they don't vote. They would have 3 times if they were registered.

This past election was my first time voting, and I've kept it a secret from them so far. They think I didn't vote, and I definitely don't want them knowing I voted Harris.

I don't know for certain who my parents have voted for, but I am certain they have never voted for Trump seeing as we aren't American.

Mom voted for hillary, biden and harris.
Dad voted for trump in 2016, but didn't vote in 2020. Not sure if he voted for Harris or didn't vote in 2024, I haven't asked.

Dad had serious regrets about voting for trump in 2016 though. He thought trump would shake things up, he doesn't support all the fascist bullshit. He finds Biden creepy for some reason which is why he didn't vote for him in 2020.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me
I don't talk to my mom but I know she doesn't support Republicans. My dumb piece-of-shit bigoted boomer dad voted for him three times.

Zero. My mother is one of those people that's far enough left that the democrats aren't enough for her and my father probably has never voted period but thinks Trump's a complete moron and finds it hilarious.

I know my dad at least voted for him in 2016 but regretted it pretty quickly. Went Biden and Harris in 2020 and 2024. Mom probably voted Dem all three times.

Neither of them like Trump, but my mom's a gullible "moderate" Republican who completely bought into the media's sanewashing despite my warnings, and my dad's just a full on rightwing asshole.
Never.

My parents dont support Trump.
My sister on the other hand is another matter.
Mostly all or nothing it seems.

It's 3 times for both of them, and it absolutely disgusts me. It's even dumber my dad did since he's a federal employee, lmao.
Many Bothans died to bring you this post.
My dad is one of the most liberal people I know (and is married to an immigrant, not that that seems to matter to some people).

My mom died in 2006 but probably would have voted for Trump at least the first time.

My in-laws voted for Trump all 3 times and are now estranged from my husband and me.

My dad and in-laws are all in their 80s, FWIW.

My parents are vehemently against Trump. In fact, they've disliked him for years before he even entered politics.

All 3 times. It upsets me

Never. My mother voted for Hillary, Biden and Harris. My dad also voted for Hillary and Biden. However he passed away in 2022. Though I'm certain he would have voted for Harris.
It's amazing how people hang around message boards of games they don't like
My dad hated Trump with every fiber of his being until his dying breath

Probably 3/3. She only explicitly mentioned so vs Clinton but shes always been republican.

Both mine did, even my older sister.

They voted for him again, even after my mom's dad, and her younger sister both died to Covid. Her mom died from not only poor health, already being in an eldery nursing home due to needing care her family couldn't give, but to grief over just learning that both her youngest daughter and husband had just died, only two years after her youngest son died to sepsis.

You want to know why they both died to COVID? Because her family also believed the lies about vaccines that were spread by the far right conspiracy theorists. They refused vaccines, didn't wear masks, and went around in public without a care. In November 2021, my Aunt's entire family had it. She died in December, with their dad (my grandpa) dying to it in January 2022.

They still don't blame the right people for this. They're not angry enough that Trump and his lying underlings effectively caused them to die with their lies and misinformation.

Even I'm still mad about this, I lost extended family that I knew and loved for decades. All because they refused to believe the truth, accepted lies with open arms, and did not protect themselves like they easily could have. My cousins are without a mother, their father without a wife. They gamed together. I played several rounds of Overwatch 1 (this is long before 2 was released) with them as a team which included their mother, my aunt. My brother and I, my aunt, and at least two of her children, my younger cousins. We can't do that anymore.

This was all due to lies about vaccines causing MAGA-leaning family like my own not to take action that would literally save their lives. They were convinced the vaccines would instead make them sick or kill them, or were embedded with microchips. All falsities.

The worst part of it all was that there was nothing I could do to convince them otherwise. From what I can tell, they'll all vote for Trump until they hit their graves.

My fate was the grandest, most brilliant of them all.
He/Him
Don't live in the US but my dad has called him "brilliant" and a "genius".
He'd have voted for him all three times.

Ernest Morgan: November 15, 1956-September 28, 2010: Best dad in the world.
My dad has a weird history. He voted Republican in every election up to 1992, went third party in 1996, 2008 and 2012, but went Democratic in 2000 and 2004. Thankfully, he never voted for Trump. He voted for Gary Johnson in 2016, Biden in 2020 and Harris in 2024.

My mom didn't vote in 2016. Prior to 2020, she hadn't voted since Clinton/Dole, but she hates Trump so much that she's voted Democratic consistently since 2020, even in non-presidential elections.
I'm a pervert.
Theyre both dead and British so Im going to say 0.
None because my parents are British. Also my mother died in 2017. Also my father actually hates Trump despite otherwise liking right-wing populism.

I'm not sure if my mom has voted or if my dad voted in 2020, but if I had to take a guess, we would have had a run of Trump votes from them.

My overall best guess is specifically that, minus my dad for 2024 because he passed in 2021.

My parents and most of my family are Republican voters, many of them disliked Trump but would die before voting Democrat. All voted for Trump naturally.
