https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California-style_pizzaso just regular pie with big shit on top?
basically a mash up of New York and Italian styles, with a California flair in the topping offerings
so just regular pie with big shit on top?Pretty much, yeah! In fact I never even knew for the longest time that "California Style" was even a thing because being raised in California my whole life, it was always just regular pizza to me.

I also like New England Greek style. Some people dont care for it, but when its good its really great.just..... regular crust. not thin and floppy, not casserole deep dish.
Im still on the fence if that qualifies as an actual style. Is there a specific crust that it usually comes in? Or would getting buffalo chicken pizza at a any restaurant still technically qualify as California style?

It isnt a style. Its just NY with, maybe, shrimp as a topping.no, it's not NY style, at all. it's not thin and floppy. it's not foldable. it's not overly greasy.
no, it's not NY style, at all. it's not thin and floppy. it's not foldable. it's not overly greasy. So basically any non-thin crust in any other part of the U.S.

Only of of those is actually pizza
Foldable slice, and it isnt even close.
Deep dish may as well be called lasagna.
Imagine being from Chicago and being proud of deep dish pizza.what gets me the most is how they put the toppings on the bottom . top pings. they're called toppings because they go on top . they are not called bottom ings.

Chicago TavernThat's not a thing, it's Milwaukee Tavern Style.
Detroit style is the best. Not floppy, not tomato pie, good solid squares. Can't be beat.
All pizza is sacred. Except for that Altoona shit.
I pretty much like any pizza except for St Louis style and the Altoona sounds like I wouldn't like it but I've never tried it. Isn't there also some style of pizza that has uncooked cheese and pepperoni? That seems weird to me but I do like lunchables so I dunno maybe that'd be alright.
I chose Chicago Tavern though since I live in Illinois and wanna stay loyal
Ohio River Valley is the area known for the cold cheese on warm pizza.
