Fun Fact: Monoco is actually the dog of one of the devs. He's in the game too, the actual dog.

Explains why he's so loyal and lovable (and furry)
Also in the prologue, there's a missable red version of the expedition outfit that kind of gives Daredevil vibes. You get it by doing a quest where you're supposed to give an outfit from a soon to be Gommaged Dad to his son. The son says that he thinks the outfit would better suit you.
The dad?
He's friggin blind!
Yo this not-Gilgamesh Dualiste guy is the coolest fucking shit.
Whaaaaaat
I talked to everyone in Lumiere, I thought. Where's this NPC located?
i have seen that once, in a shop menu from a specific gestral
i haven't had it happen anywhere else
Anyone else having some issues with the menu locking up when you scroll down and needing to exit and re-enter it to use it?
Deciding if I want to give NG+ a whirl, I'm thinking I will after the patch tomorrow. If you do, try and get those festival tokens at the beginning of the game and see if the baguette weapons are for real In NG++ if you ever get around to it. If you want to that is <__<
We know they're nerfing Stendhal a bit and I expect Medalum will be fixed, for those unaware it's doing 400% damage instead 200%. So after the patch there might be some better Maelle weapons.
Anyway it took me 80 hours to 100% on normal and that's with taking my time and exploring every nook and cranny.
Not a shop menu, but i have had an occasional issue on the skill menu in combat where it doesn't properly displays the skills when switching sides
Slight spoiler for late act 2.The monolith dungeon is too fucking long. I have praised this game for not doing normal JRPG BS, but this is one of them right here
I wantedIt gets boring fighting the same enemieseven more long dungeons like it tbh

Yeah, its made even worse if youre characters arent properly set up.Opposite problem. Other than some bosses, it is simple and therefore tedious
How much does Power on a weapon affect damage? I got a second weapon for Monoco. I much prefer the bonuses of his starting weapon, but it has 409 power versus his second one's 660. Second one has better scaling so that accounts for some of it, but no more than like 50.
Fixed Medalum third Lumina doubling all damage in Virtuose Stance instead of doubling only Burn damage.
Stendhal: Reduced damage by 40%.

RIP Stendhal one shots.
Pre-nerf vs postI mean that's still more than enough to one shot
Still not too shabby

Really, they should've given the super bosses some kind of in-built protection for this, like an inherent damage cap or multiple health bars that are damage gated. Or cap PP to 99,999 or even 999,999Honestly they should have just not made damage go so insane. Going from a 9999 cap to a million+ with PP is completely uncalled for and makes the game impossible to balance properly. What PP should have done was calculated damage above 9999 logarithmically. So every 10 points of damage above 9999 is just 1 damage, and every 100 damage above 99999 is 1 damage.
Pre-nerf vs postLame I want my one shot Maelle build back
Still not too shabby

Lame I want my one shot Maelle build back333 million damage is enough to one shot the superboss how much more do you want

You know one thing that I love about this game and kinda proves how good it is, is that I haven't really seen any complaints abouthow Maelle becomes the main character after Act 1, aside from the obvious MC Gustave dying. I guess this is compromised a bit because the game does have a bit of Great Gatsby/FF12 syndrome where they kinda frame us as having Verso be the pseudo main character/person we see the story through for most of the game (via the camp) but I still think they did a fantastic job in that aspect.
Was going out for Mother's Day dinner when suddenly...

I just started playing today and got to the water area. I have no idea how the hell Im going to get good at parrying. Enemies do this Dark Souls delaying their attacks shit and then the game goes into slowmo which is fucking even more with my sense of timing.
Could have just left it as it's a single player game
Thats not an excuse. The previous output was due to errors and glitch from the weapon. Its not how its meant to be played. Regardless you can still do plenty damage without itYeah I just hit Act 2 in NG+ and soloing with Lune, 1-2 shotting about everything. There were a few times the reserves had to come in, then Stendhal or Steeled Strike finish the job. Stendhal is still absurdly broken.
I followed this guide on how to get the 100 Luminas at The Fountain at the end of the game. In it, the guy who made the guide says you can kill one extra Nevron, as well as two others that outright ask you to kill them. This is false. Do NOT kill the extra, third Nevron. This will make you fail the quest and lock you out from the trophy. I am unsure if you can even kill the other two and still complete the quest/get the trophy.I let the last one live who begs for death, got 100 Lumina from the hands guy for helping them all, did not get the achievement. It's the only one I don't have. Apparently you DO have to kill the one who begs for it before he does it himself or no achievement.
I just found this out yesterday the hard way and had to put off finishing the game because I was so fucking livid and couldn't bring myself to play. Please do not repeat my mistake.
