Bit of a place holder topic title, but I'll just describe what lead to me making this topic.

I live with 3 guys who whenever I do something that annoys them, it's straight to the group chat to write some business-like message(the current topic is me taking showers that are too long, I always lose track of time in there)

They do things that annoy me too, but my brain will always try to rationalise their reasons for doing something and then just accept it and never bring it up. One issue is one of them having loud phone calls outside my room to his parents back in NZ, and it annoys me, but then I think "oh he misses his parents" etc and never bring anything up.

The result is that to an outside perspective, I look like an awful housemate. But in my opinion it's more complicated.

Anyway, can anyone relate to this?

With friends and family? No. I tend to be non-confrontational.

With co-workers and businsess? Yeah I'm clear and direct with communication because things that "Annoy me" are likely to effect our cilents and suppliers.
^ Hey now that's completely unfair!

Okay, yeah, I actually am a bit better in the workplace at doing it than in my personal life too.
