The social media post is just indicating a live stream. See the Twitch and Youtube icons at the bottom. Still possible they could release it later in the day after the stream though.

It was actually an accident when they aired the trailer for VI. It was supposed to be the announcement for the oblivion remaster but they were too embarrassed and have been putting this off for years.

It's probably just a bad coincidence of timing... But it feels pretty shitty for Microsoft to do to that Clair Obscur game. They kinda took it on for marketing and it's game pass day 1 oh but also a remake of one of the biggest RPGs is gonna shadow drop right before release.

Apparently Xbox AI support was claiming the gam was going to launch today at noon. Which not going to lie sparked my hype engine. I was SO READY to play this.

Seeing them casually announce a damn "stream" tomorrow instead is disappointing. We don't need a hype train there already was one. We are ready. Just drop it.

Not sure its a coincidence that the tease basically dropped right around the time the game was supposed to.

it probably isn't, the most likely scenario is it was always just going to be the reveal stream lmao

as for the xbox ai support, you can get it to say anything you want, i could go on there and have it say they own sony, for example.

Oblivion is better than Skyrim imo. The gameplay/graphics is all Skyrim did "better", and I say better because it's more engaging and visceral, despite being every bit as shallow. But to me, Skyrim was just a very watered down and empty experience, everything felt meaningless and unearned, like it was designed to be played by someone with a 5 minute attention span, 10 max.
Story, guilds, music (oh god the music), world, sidequests, all better in Oblivion.

Everyone's always going to love Skyrim more though. Nostalgia and the 'cool factor' of being the Dovahkiin and fighting dragons.
There's a time and place for everything... but not now.

Microsoft and Bethesda do worldwide releases so it would be a Tuesday release just on a Monday in America due to being so far behind on the timezones. That is how they released the Indiana Jones game in December at least. Came out on a Monday at 6PM CST. Same for Starfield.
