Making a separate topic from the ongoing Doctor Who topic so I don't spoil things for the TC.
Every Doctor so far has had a moment of unbridled rage, where they let the anger out and show exactly why they're such a terrifying force for their enemies to have to deal with. Showing off what's bubbling under the surface waiting for an outlet, and giving a glimpse of what the "Doctor" title is holding them back from doing and what they're capable of when they stop giving a fuck.
We haven't had that with Ncuti Gatwa yet. He's a very positive, empathetic Doctor, and he's doing an amazing job at the role, but hasn't had that flash of rage yet. There hasn't been an "oh shit, you fucked up" moment for whoever he's opposing. He feels capable, smart, and relatable, but not threatening. We NEED this show of anger.
And yes, I know that's the point of the Fourteenth --> Fifteenth bigeneration, as confusing and clumsy as it was handled. 14 basically underwent therapy after the bigeneration so 15 wouldn't feel that rage, even though 15 already existed because the passage of time in Doctor Who is more of a suggestion than a rule. But without that rage, without the Doctor putting the fear of himself into his enemies, he feels like the deal with Disney's put him on a leash.
Also, he hasn't yet met a Dalek or a Cyberman in this regeneration. Not even a Sontaran. Sure, we've had the Toymaker and Sutekh return (briefly), but where are the iconic enemies that every Doctor Who fan is waiting to see? If this Doctor really is completely devoid of rage and fury, I
really want
to see how he's going to handle a Dalek fleet if "kill 'em all" is no longer an option in his mind.
