This woman that worked for the city council of New Orleans was accused of assault/sexual harassment over a decade-long period, she was removed last year, and the committee that did the investigation just reinstated her and required the city compensate the backpay.

The committee literally agreed that she committed the harassment, but their issue was that it couldn't be proven whether the harassment affected the quality of work/productivity in the workplace.

what the fuck dude. And all of this is competing with another fact for "Worst Part of this Story" - they also published the full names of the people who came out to file reports against her.

I have no more hope in America, we're doomed, just straight up doomed, if you have money this country is yours, if you don't and you piss off a person with power you have no options but to take it in silence or face retribution that could include being kidnapped in a moment you do not expect and sent to a foreign prison.

This country is just fucked, we're all just victims in waiting.
