Man I am grateful gamefaqs has no kind of upvote downvote reddit-like function..

Let me blogfaqs for a bit.

Because I swear some redditors have brainrot and just abuse downvoting for petty reasons like being wrong in a internet argument. I know I shouldn't even take this crap seriously but dammit this one in particular got to me lol since I am a chronic illness patient that have been dealing with these kinds of medications for majority of my life at this point.

This one was on the pain management subreddit. TC makes a thread because they want to know what their next controlled medicine prescription pick up date will be since they are going somewhere for awhile and requested a early refill.

TC has a good reputation with their doctor and so the doc was completely fine with granting the early refill quest. Same with the pharmacist they usually go to.

Some posters said "the early refill days will be added to your regular pick up date next month." (Basically if TC picks up their refill at 28 days, then they would have to wait 32 days for their next fill since they "technically" should have 2 days worth of medicines still).

I posted "they have always just counted from my prescription pick-up date". (Basically even if I get a early refill, then those 2 extra days are just 2 extra days of medicine I receive because hey, shit happens. Sometimes we just need to take extra pain pills in a month. If I have a 28 day refill then it will simply be 30 days until my next fill....nothing more, nothing less. (although even another 2 day or 1 day early refill pick up is fine if I really needed it. As long as both the doctor is fine with it and the pharmacist is fine with it then its ok).

I get the crap downvoted out of me for "being wrong". Some others quoted my posts going "nuh-uh".

I did apologize for my very first post in that thread since the way I came off I kind of sounded like the way I always got my refills was a fact for every person. I've since made another post saying "its up to the individual doctor and pharmacist", but I have actually posted proof via my humana claims (important info of course scrubbed out/wiped) of the last 3 months showing that I indeed just get my refills 30 days from the last, w/ 2 day or 1 day early refills allowed and never counted in some sort of "total".

......gets downvoted more. My refills just aren't possible. Poster accuses me of always needing to be right.
