I filed them previously but by coincidence I deposited my federal return today. I had to pay the state but I did that a couple weeks ago.

Procrastination is the enemy of success. I filed mines on the 14th.

I did mine on the 3rd, which is good because I owed $4100 federal taxes while getting back $3200 state

gave my refund from the state enough time to process so I could pay the federal in time

I did them over the weekend, but submitted today.

I guess I have to do them when I get home, but I really dont feel like it. At least mine is very simple.

Ha, I filed mine a few weeks ago, but for anyone that needs to hear this, if you're looking desperately at the last minute for the easiest way to file a simple tax return, those online filing services are pretty easy to use and depending on how simple your return is you can complete it from start to finish in under 30 minutes. I've used FreeTaxUSA before and can recommend that one.

I file them immediately in January when I get my W2(s) lol
Since only from below can one better see the heights.

Just paid my state on the 15th at midnight.
I did mine over the weekend. So like I didn't procrastinate until the very last day but close to it.

Did mine yesterday lol
Never forget where you came from.
Did mine! These days I'm fairly successful with the writing career on top of my normal job, so it's a shock when the bill comes. 7 grand owed this time!
I don't know what to put in my sig.
I technically did them yesterday but I had to drop them off at a box at the post office because it was like 7:30 at night and I couldn't e-file.

So they didn't actually get picked up until this morning.

Can I apply for half credit?

I'd recommend FreeTaxUSA.

Straightforward system, covers just about all the perks and whatnot of the bigname garbage monstrosities, and payment is either only necessary in certain circumstances or can be taken out of your return.

I don't recall the exact system on payment and I only use it once a year, so I don't get many chances to put that info in long-term storage.

TurboTax can go fuck itself in a house fire, never use TurboTax. You didn't mention TurboTax but it bears stressing regardless.

FreeTaxUSA is what I used. I had just used tax slayer since I was a teen but they kept asking for more and more money every year and last year I realized there was alternatives. Fuck charging like $100+ when I'm literally just doing a straight forward tax return with no deductions and a single W2 with no alternative sources of income aside from my single job.
Nah, I did mine before they could gut the IRS and because I was owed money.

I was in the areas that got effected by the fires, so I technically got a free extension...but I still filed my taxes on time. I only got about $800's refund from both State and Federal lol.
DI MOLTO!
I did mine in February.

I paid H&R Block $300 to do my taxes in person. Last year I went to the same place for a little over $150.

Literally the only thing different was that I sold Tesla stock last year from Robinhood, and at a loss. Well that and reporting $30 interest from a bank..

I'm doing online next time lol. I was going to do it this year, but I just did it last minute with family at the same time
Less is more. Everything you want, isn't everything you need.
I always just do fillable forms from the IRS website. It's surprisingly easy. You type numbers in, hit "do the math" and it does the math. You can add the needed forms, all right there in one module. You even submit and pay right there at the end.
I don't know what to put in my sig.
Not yet, but I have until the first of May.
