Huh. Wonder if this is finally the end for it. Sounds like it's 110% compromised. Not to sound paranoid but I wonder if it's a sign of something deeper going on, only five days out from April 20th and all those conspiracies about Trump enacting the insurrection act on that day and all that.
They blew up a van
Eh. No great loss ultimately, but 4chan was the lifeboat whenever gamefaqs bit the dust
I don't go there but I think its pretty big if true.Yeah, it's suspicious. I usually don't like going into conspiracy theories, but with everything that's been happening so far...you'd kinda have to wonder.
The site weathered basically everything, and only suddenly NOW it gets completely compromised all at once?
I don't go there but I think its pretty big if true.Reddit never backed up damn near every FAQ from this site when the news of Fandom buying it came out. Guess who did.

Also,
Um, no, that would be Reddit. Which for now is still working. Also its more like a cruise ship taking in lifeboats.

Eh, there's worse places on the internet, if I had to choose a site for this to happen to? 4chan wouldn't crack the top 5./pol/ and /b/ are definitely vile places, but the other special interest boards seem (....generally) fine

If there's any truth to this, 4chan might be gone for good.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/9/945160b8.pngShit. I always stayed as an anonymous user who mostly just browsed on there so I shouldn't be affected, right?

/v/ is just as bad.Was it? I only went to 4chan when I heard about game leaks cuz they always had info. I never really looked at the topic list too much >_> I guess lump that in too

Not saying the place is good or worth keeping around, just there's absolutely worse places than 4chan.
Unless you put personal info, they have nothing. They have your ip, but no real way to distinguish it from most others. That's a relief. I don't want a massive data breach on a website I barely use to potentially endanger me, lol.

It's still up but it's super unresponsive for me
lmaoTo be fair, only a few of the boards are true shitholes. Like /pol/ in particular, and probably /b/ still. And I think most of the spinoffs are pretty much dead these days.
Couldn't happen to a worse hive of shitty human beings. It and its spinoffs should really be shut down.
Yeah, like 8chan.
Post greentext stories in rememberance lol
Is 8 just an edgier version of 4? idk anything about it besides it's bad and that THQ thingIf you flip the 8 sideways you get the infinity symbol. The idea was unlimited user created boards managed by their creators. Also no global rules, which played out about as well as you can imagine. It later got taken over by a QAnon conspiracy nut, and afaik those are about the only people who still use it nowadays.
