for some reasonEntirely sure you want to be in this topic?
A lot of random red states decided they wanted to rival Texas and Florida a few years ago.Its less charming when you offer literally nothing.
Entirely sure you want to be in this topic?Sounds like story time.
Remember why you got kicked off and why you should have stayed kicked off ?
Man talks about witnessing Idaho police shooting a knife-wielding autistic teenager
A teenager described by his family as autistic remains in critical condition after being shot in his backyard by Idaho police last weekend. Video taken by a witness showed Pocatello police shooting the boy as he approached them with a knife from the other side of a chain-link fence.

Heck, not to hijack your topic, TC, but the LAPD apparently shot the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner the other day and Im only just finding out about it at four in the morning after a long night of work.Probably feared for their lives
I've said it before and I'll say it again - cops should not be allowed to have guns. They can't be trusted with them.
Probably feared for their livesI mean she had a gun that she wouldnt put down
I can't believe in 2025, people are still calling cops to de-escalate things. Cops don't de-escalate. They aren't trained to. I guess most people don't watch all the cop videos out there. It's hard to understand people who are ignorant of easily available informationYou only call the cops if you want someone to die.
Never call the cops
I've said it before and I'll say it again - cops should not be allowed to have guns. They can't be trusted with them.Yeah, unfortunately it's a combination of some cops being eager to use their guns all the time and other cops being far too afraid of citizens to be in that line of work.
Yeah, unfortunately it's a combination of some cops being eager to use their guns all the time and other cops being far too afraid of citizens to be in that line of work.I think I know what case you are describing and I think I've seen that footage
Like I can't remember what state it was offhand, but I remember a cop that responded to a call and when he thought a suspect was armed, he started panicking and wildly firing in that general direction. Thankfully didn't hit anyone, but an EMT on scene had to literally take the gun out of the officers hands and calm him down because the officer was panicking so bad. His hands had locked up with his fingers still on the trigger.
So when some of these officers say they "feared for their lives" I think they really are afraid. Problem is, they shouldn't be in that line of work in the first place if they get that scared, that easily. Throw the book at these cops and bar them from becoming cops again after they serve their time.
And Rest in Peace to this teen. He didn't deserve to go out like that.
