Turning the "wouldn't it be easier to choose one or the other?" argument around and asking why the interviewer doesn't get a sex change to live easier in a male-focused society is absolute perfection. You could hear the exact second that the interviewer realized she fucked up.

You'd be surprised how many people bring that argument up to anybody who comes out as gay or trans or bi sexual or even converting religions or dating outside our race, Humans seek comfort and going outside the norms of that comfort brings instability, brings questions, brings threats so those who seek comfort or never had to worry about their comfort being disrupted can't comprehend someone choosing to do something that they see would bring about difficulty in their life.
