Love is Blind: Sweden season 2 was a total wash

Holy cow I don't know if it was the editing or what but I had zero idea why any of these people had an attraction to each other to begin with and the drama was so mellow since they were all more or less pretty emotionally mature and just communicated when shit wasn't working out.

Watching S8 of the standard US version and it's night and day, the people are actually opening up to each other (still a fair share of "omg I want someone who I feel comfortable with" "omg you too?? I love you" moments going on but yeah)

the american seasons are so fucking corny it's a bunch of wannabe influencers repeating the same boring ass lines about "CONNECTIONS" and stuff. I just like it when there's drama

Oh yeah for sure, so much fake shit too. It's just got more energy to it though. And the drama is way more interesting.

The Swedish version takes itself too seriously and feels like they're actually trying to do an experiment to see if people will form long-lasting romantic connections sight unseen. The US version is all about giving you hints of trash aroma so you dig around to find the dump sites.

also was it just a bad sample or do Swedish people really say "mm... mmhmm... hmm" every five seconds? No wonder those people were all single wtf

We are not the US and that also shows on programmes like these. Thank God for that.

In my defense I consume way too much of everything, including real information about real issues and I did vote for Harris and I am 100% terrified about what's happening now -_-
