Camp Damascus and Bury Your Gays

Both sound really interesting. And I haven't read books in a long ass time so I think this will be a good way to get back into it.

actually I love Tingle, though I've only read a couple of his short story erotica, I'm always checking the new releases section for his latest bangers. These horror books sound interesting, combination of over the top monster stuff and actual social commentary

They're usually really short stories full of ridiculous smut. He likes to poke fun at current events or popular media. Most of his stuff is about guys getting pounded in the butt if you couldn't tell from the books posted so far but he has a few lesbian books too. Not sure I've seen any hetero content from him.

If this is up your alley, also check out Unhinged by Vera Valentin. " Unhinged is a paranormal romance story that involves a human woman getting it on with her front door, which later turns into a guy."

50 pages into 246 page Camp Damascus
For Chuck Tingle I'm pleasantly surprised, the writing is generally solid. He does fall into the trap of relying on recurring phrasing ("frightening" seems to be a popular word), some of the descriptions of things feel a little out of place for a book (like, describing a figure running at the protagonist then turning 90 degrees and running into a closet - this feels like a description of a scene from a horror movie, it's too rushed/short for book format), and some of the stuff feels like he whipped out a fact from Wikipedia just to make the book feel a little more intellectual.

Other than that though it's a good simple story with some creepy imagery in it so far.
