They're trying, I guess.Lies of P
Haven't played Black Myth Wukong but judging by how badly I sucked at Lies of P and Stellar Blade I don't think it's a game for me...Still don't get the difficulty with Stellar Blade. Fairly easy on Normal until the endgame. Also, there are difficulty settings if needed.
I honestly can't think of any games recently I've played that are Korean or Chinese...

Lies of P is a little rough, but yeah, Black Myth is brutal.
I hope we get to start seeing other AAA Chinese and Korean games other that aren't action and/or Soulsborne inspired. You act like "Korean Grindfest" hasn't been its own MMO genre for decades.
like, more RPGs, platformers, horror titles, etc.

I feel like it'd be better for literal culture wars to start lessening lol. At this point everything has been influencing each other and I personally like hearing more about how devs from one region were inspired by another.I do agree. I enjoy games from all over.
I gotta see what the tutorial island looks like firstI too love runescape!
why do we have to argue about western vs eastern games at all?Because it's fun? I don't have a stake in it either way, as others do. Especially on this site, there are quite a few who hate western games.
Need more variety from Asian games first.Well, that's backwards. Plenty of Asian games are in a Western style, but rarely see vice versa.

With AAA games at least. Thankfully, smaller AA games and indie games have a broader variety when it comes to that, even if they're not as noticeable. That's true
