Something that I believe literally costs nothing, just vote yes, you are in favor of people having hope. But we can't even have that. The entire Middle East voted yes.

Cuba thinking we're assholes is not exactly out of the norm for them. Nor have they ever been particularly wrong about it, but that's been most of the geopolitical structure of that particular spot of the globe for like fifty years.

We're done for as a country, even if Trump is gone in 4 years by a miracle we're never gonna get back what we once had, whose gonna trust us when whoever comes after him could even be more insane or whoever comes after that person is even more malicious than Trump and twice as stupid?

Like even if we get a sane Democrat why make a contract or a deal with them when in 4 years an insane Republican will rip it up and throw it back in their faces because Americans are stuck in this cycle of Republicans breaking shit, Democrats fixing it but NOT GOOD ENOUGH/NOT FAST ENOUGH and go right back to the Republicans who break shit even harder while also making it harder to fix what they broke the last time? We've been in this hellish cycle for 40 goddamn years and this one seems to be the one where Republicans may have finally accumulated enough power to make Trump president for life and make damn sure no Democrat replaces him to try and fix their mess this time.
