Trump is priming the MAGA base to support a potential invasion of Canada. He wants a third term to stay in power. If the USA is at war, he can "temporarily" (read: permanently) suspend elections. But the war has to be on the USA's home turf, since a far-off war on foreign shores isn't enough to declare a state of emergency.

I was thinking the same thing.

Make sure the billionaires know when the next "tariffs" are incoming so they can manipulate the market to funnel money from peoples retirements and long term investments to their pockets.

I hope Trump finds out that a lot of his military spending comes from Canada, both in energy and in materials for weaponry/tools. He wants to invade all these countries, going to be hard to do when he has to rely on his own countries economy to do so.

Trump doesn't really need a war to do that - he's been wiping his ass with the constitution since he was inaugurated, he'll just do it and nobody will complain. Say Fentanyl or illegal immigrants are a state of emergency, just like when he couldn't get the border wall funded otherwise.
