Thanks.

First time flying a long flight, longest been 6h. This is 12h 30min.

Been hydrating, staying away from alochol and gonna try to not let my legs be still for too long.

Hopefully I can get a e-sim quickly for a good price.

Nah, travelling with my bf, we have first 3 nights in Bankok, then 2 in Krabi then 4 in Koh Lanta. Rest we havent booked.

Today has been an experience. Here is some:

Been badgered by a bar girl, she told me to get a thai wife, told her I was with my bf here.

Had amazing food again, Pad Kaprao with chicken, and Red Curry with shrimp. Felt like an authentic streetfood place, tent small tables, correct Thai condiments, place with most Thai people, packed. Seen so many restaurants here catering to western food or making alcohol the priority and not food. Sorry no pics, I was too focused on the experience.

Gonna have breakfast at the same place tomorrow.

Walked through Khao San Road at peak time, it was like my brain was infected with a virus and I had to avoid pop-up ads among a million people, while extreme loud music was nuking my ears from at least 3 different sources at the same time. And avoid pickpockets during that.
I thought Im too old for this shit, but then I thought I was never young for this.

Had some use with the extremly limited Thai Ive learned. Thai people Ive interracted with seemed to respond well.

We took a taxi at rush hour, this traffic is insane. Still I barely saw any damaged viecles.

2 Nights in Bankok most touristy places has been an experience, good thing I prepared for this, except Khao San Road, that was insane.

In Krabi town at a hotel now.
Cheap but nice clean hotel except some very very tiny ants from the bathroom sink.

I mean we are in Thailand so it should be expected especially lower budget.

Tried to read about tiny ants but hopefully these are harmeless, didnt seem to bite when I tried to touch them.

Saw one on the floor as well by the bed.

My glass of water that had a few drops in it had lots of ants in it.

Lol Im not used to insects like this, I feel thet are crawling on me when Im on bed, dont see any if the bed tho.

Im not sure if you figured it out yet but there are pharmacies everywhere. its definitely a good idea to get stomach and digestion related medicine. You can get antibiotics with a prescription and you might need them at some point.

Ive been fine with any bites, had few small red bumps, I keep using the pink Softsell spray and it seems to help, tho I wear long pants when it starts to get dark. My BF tho, has large red bumps all over his legs, but he hadnt sprayed himself and one night he was in shorts. We got a cream that is having an effect.

As for stomach, it has been feeling better than at home for both of us, but probably best to prepare.

Yeh been here since Monday. 21 days left.

This new country, new part of the world, totally different culture, and starting with the very busy Bankok has been a bit overwhelming. Im still enjoying it and soaking it all in, but its tiring. Next place tomorrow is in Koh Lanta, now I want pece.

Krabi Town has been chill, doesnt feel too touristy. Tomorrow we gotta figure out best way to Koh Lanta, gonna be bad weather so not gonna take ferry. Prob gonna stay there for awhile if we like it.

My wife and I were actually in Phuket for the last few days. Just left yesterday to visit with some family in Singapore for a few days; then we're gonna hit up Istanbul for some sightseeing before heading home to the states.
Doesn't take a lot of brains to be a good fighter.

Well see for me, just loving the food. I may just lose some due to moving more than I do and and eating less processed stuff. I mean finding low calorie snacks is easy, just love Thai Snacks. I eat lot of garbage at home.

Prob, but only seen one gecko in Bankok this far. I think we saw a larger spider at a beach bar last night.

Here there are cats everywhere, they go around the beach and ppl pet them. Seen few dogs on the street. In Krabi Town there were more wild dogs. Havent interacted with any, wanna try to avoid.

I thought there would be lots of mosquitoes here but I havent seem them, havent gotten any bites either.

Had some Tom Yum Noodle soup yesterday. It was great, despite the restaurant being a touristy pricy place that served other food like western and mexican.

It was rice soup with pork meatballs and chicken.

Today I had fried rice and omelette for breakfast, personally I enjoy savory breakfast over sweet and processed carbs. Didnt take pics.
