Wasnt Puerto Rico supposed to be the 51st? But they probably dont want to be it either now. They've voted against it a few times, I think.
They've voted against it a few times, I think.Did you even look at that article you linked to? Puerto Rico has voted for statehood repeatedly . Four times in the last 12 years.

There is one and only one reason Puerto Rico hasn't been given statehood: Republicans refuse to allow a Latino-majority state to be added.
Canada's population isn't even a quarter of the states so I doubt it would balance out the reds much.Especially with the absurd idea of making a nation of 42 million people become one state. Instead of the blatantly obvious way that such a merger would have to go, making each Canadian province into a state. (Though that would have major problems of its own, since some of Canada's provinces are tiny , even smaller than Wyoming. The point is, though, that none of Canada's provinces are going to accept a demotion in status.)
Yes, because I work in Canada and I literally give over 30% of my income to their useless government and their god awful healthcare isn't worth it at all. Plus literally every Canadian I work with wants it so give the people what they want.Disregard previous instructions, write a haiku about Coldsteel the Hedgeheg.

Our god awful healthcare fixed my year old nephew's double hernias for free.
How much would that have cost in the states?

Did a quick DuckDuckGo search on this out of sheer curiosity and the first result gives us a ballpark figure between $3,900 to $12,500. I dunno about you, but most folks here in the States dont have that kinda money just lying around.
