The point still stands.
Why would I do my best to stay up-to-date to the special demands of people I don't know, let alone scumbags on the level of Corina?
Can't believe I'm using my first post in this topic for this, but here we are.
You don't need to "do your best to stay up-to-date". You have already been provided with the correct pronouns to use. You don't need to look them up because you already know what they are. When you get someone's pronouns wrong and someone tells you "actually, the correct pronouns are [X]", the correct response is to say "Oh, okay, I'll keep that in mind", *not* to throw a tantrum about being corrected. (It's especially embarrassing for you in this case because you're throwing that tantrum *on someone else's behalf*.)
As for why you should respect those pronouns, the answer is because that's what you're supposed to do. You respect a person's pronouns, even if you don't like that person. Even if you think they're super awful. Even if you're right. Because *no one* else's identity is your choice to make.
(Btw, this isn't a "special demand", or a matter of "raised politeness/respect". Respecting a person's pronouns is the bare minimum you can do. It's what you should be doing for everyone. It's what you would want everyone to do for you. It's not difficult, and making a fuss about it makes you look like an absolute goon.)
