As someone with such a PC, I didn't buy it to beat my PS5. I did it for the things my PS5 cannot do.For me, i mostly play games I got for free from streaming services like amazon...
Paying like 2,000 dollars to build the elite gaming PC only for the vegetation to disappear compared to the 700 dollar mid-gen upgrade console.Developer skill issue.

You know that's a testament to shitty development and not pc itself right?https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/f/f1032134.jpg
I have an expensive pc and a ps5 pro. I enjoy the varied reactions I get.My PC was fairly expensive for what it was in 2016 and right now its still hanging on with a i7 6700K CPU and a RX 6600 XT GPU. Going to try to ride this out a little bit more/maybe around 2029 (basically when trump back out of office) and go for some upgrades then since these days I'm mainly just playing emulators or indies on the PC.
Really, I still stand by my sentiment that most graphics past the OG Xbox & GameCube, are a point of diminishing returns. As for PC gaming itself, it's easy to understand why they're so obsessed with performance: they've spent a shitload on some of the most high-end CPUs & GPUs; they need the validation of that, even though we're at the point where most improvements are only seriously noticeable in a side-by-side comparison.I'd say 7th gen instead of 6th, but I agree. They should have shifted to at least a ten year generation at that point. We should be talking about PS5 coming out next year, or later.

Console gamers when they have to pay $130 on their e-store for one game + $30 a month for the privilege of playing online, learning PC players got the game on sale for $15 and can play online as much as they want for freeConsole games cost $130 now?
Console games cost $130 now?Sounds like cope to me
In any case, the sales on PC storefronts have been getting less and less impressive for a while now. I think they've caught in that people are waiting for the sales instead of buying at launch.

Good thing I check physical and digital deals so I don't get ripped off on that $130
Sounds like cope to meNah, I switched to PC in '20. The sales and especially the freebies have been getting a lot less appealing.

Though yeah, if you wait long enough, most PC games can be acquired for less than $40; $20 if you're really diligent, & that's not even including things like Humble Bundle or those sketchy second market activation code sites.Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. I might have spent more than $20 on like two games since switching to PC, but now that's becoming a more competitive price because the sale prices for even the same games that were on sale last year are higher than they were last year.

We really don't care that much lol.
I noticed my buddy was playing Marvel Rivals the other day on PC and I wanted to invite him to a game and check out his profile. Couldn't find it. We're friends on steam, it shows him playing the game via steam but apparently I need to add him separately in the game itself?
Same with PS and MS gamers (mostly the former) when their expensive console is more powerful than Nintendo's portable nearly half their price.
