I don't feel like he turned out as well as the other gen 4 starters, but I already have holiday/family stress setting in and if I waited until later today it probably would have turned out worse. At least the heavy shading helps hide the anatomy mistakes a bit

Also as far as "you'll never be able to catch up", I started this last year and I'm already 1/3 of the way through the current Pokedex. Even if a new generation with about 100 more Pokemon releases before I hit #1025, I think it's safe to say I'll be finished drawing them within two years.

Just wanted to let you know TC that you inspired me to try this even as someone who can't usually draw for shit...

I've done Bulbasaur and Ivysaur so far and I've honestly surprised myself... The only downside is drawing cramps my hand up lol
