Bad trumpet and bad violin are equally abhorrent.Trumpet was the first one that came to my mind tbh
Clarinet. It sounds like shit at the best of times. I can't imagine how bad it is to be played badly.Obviously, you don't live near an octopus whose house is a Moai head and who works as a cashier at a fast food restaurant.
OboeFuckin' finally , someone said it.
Wait what about theremin
I've got to pick the violin over woodwind and brass instruments because with those if you're playing it poorly you probably aren't even making a sound. There's at least a little bit of technique required to make them make any kind of noise, where with the violin all you have to do is have the bow touch the strings.Violin is a fine pick and all but there is mostly definitely a sound when you teach someone how to blow into a brass instrument and they give it their first try. It's like a weak fart that sounds both extremely dry and wet at the same time.
recorderThe problem there being a perfectly played recorder is still an extremely unpleasant sound.
source: me as an angry kid with a recorder
The recorder. Mostly because when it's played really well, you're like "wait, that's what a recorder is supposed to sound like?" But you almost only hear it being played poorly or messed around on.Oh wow, recorders are incredibly lovely played right. I have a soft spot for wind instruments in any case.
that thing doesnt sound good when you play it correctlyThat is because you are an uncultured swine
I have sax bias , but I think the saxophone. Some people are saying bagpipes, not to sound like an ass but do they sound good when played correctly ? The change from sounding really good like the Sax can to sounding like crap is the greatist with the sax.
