I mean, Bluepoint games, the studio who made the Demon's souls Remake has been suspiciously quiet the last few years.. all i can find is that they helped with God of War Ragnarok as "Additional Work" so honestly i wouldn't be surprised if they were working on a Bloodborne Remake or remaster of some sort

This is more of a nothingburger than that random multiplat video game announcement having just "nintendo" instead of "nintendo switch" listed for the platforms it's on.

The upcoming news seems like Sony will be acquiring Kadokawa games anyway so this seems like a given.

I need to boot up the classic FF7 and get a screenshot of that for my explore picture real quick.

I dont wanna use rest mode anymore. Just wanna reboot each time to get that PS1 startup. Yeah, I can just listen to it at anytime, but having it happen when I turn on the console hits differently.

Regarding the themes, I went into it thinking Id just use the PS1 or PS2 theme. Didnt realize that while I like the imagery for PS1 and PS2 more, I seemingly really have some nostalgia for the PS3 and PS4 sound effects. Particularly PS4.

Why the hell make this temporary?

I think Uncharted 4 or Lost Legacy comes with a theme to make it look like the PS2. I definitely remember downloading it from the store, no need to own whichever game it came with.

That. It must have always been there from a recent firmware update and I never noticed. I like it though.

EDIT: On a side note I was taking screenshots of PS2 games with the PS2 themes and star ocean 3 is like, ridiculously sharp because of the PS5 pro PS4 game (which those PS2 on PS4 games ports technically are) image upscaler. Its because the game had a progressive scan mode on the PS2 and so its one nice looking PS2 on PS4 on PS5 on PS5 pro game.

I know that used to be the case but I just pulled up a couple of lists and there are titles that either stopped being exclusive (like Final Fantasy XVI and the FF7 remakes and Ghost of Tsushima) or actually just aren't (like Pacific Drive was on one list?).

I need to do more research into it all I know there are some PS3/PS4 games I would like to play that I never did since the last one I touched was PS2.
